The Direct Entry registration form for the 2022–2023 session, which was supposed to begin on February 12 and expire on March 19, has been postponed, according to the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
On February 9th, the examination board forwarded this information via her official Twitter account. The tweet from JAMB is shown below:
The start of the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) Registration process, which was originally set for Saturday, February 12, 2022, has been moved to Saturday, March 2, 2022.

The registration period will now run from Saturday, March 26, 2022, through February 19, 2022. The one-week delay, according to JAMB, will allow for further fine-tuning of the updated and user-friendly registration procedures.
Candidates are recommended to keep reading their books and ask pertinent questions regarding the registration only from a licensed exam facility while they wait for the registration to begin.
Keep in mind that JAMB will begin registering candidates for upcoming exams using National Identity Numbers (NIN). It is crucial that you apply for one at the nearby NIN center if you haven’t already received yours.
How Much Does the JAMB Direct Entry form cost?
Three thousand five hundred dollars is the cost of the JAMB 2022 direct entry form (N3,500). The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) must receive this payment online, either through Remita or a bank transfer.
