Anthony Muoz, a renowned local legend and former Cincinnati Bengal who is now a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, has been actively involved in his dedication to improving the lives of local children in the Greater Cincinnati area. In April 2002, Anthony made the decision to combine all of his charity endeavors into the Anthony Muoz Foundation (AMF), a nonprofit organization with the goal of influencing adolescents emotionally, physically, and spiritually in the Tri-State area.
The Effect
The Anthony Munoz Foundation has impacted over 50,000 young people’s lives along the way. More than two decades later, the Anthony Muoz Foundation continues to encourage those who are struggling while educating, recognizing, and rewarding Tri-State youngsters who achieve in all facets of life. The Anthony Munoz Foundation’s activities show young people that they can overcome their individual challenges while keeping an eye on higher education, regardless of the adversity they may encounter.
We’re Committed
The Anthony Munoz Foundation is transforming the lives of kids all throughout the Tri-State by implementing a program that provides life-changing college scholarships, three high school education and recognition programs, three inspiring football camps, and our Whiz Kids tutoring program.
Anthony firmly believes that young people need to be inspired and motivated as well as acknowledged and rewarded for their achievements. Anthony and our group want the young people in our area to understand their worth. They can overcome the challenges life has brought them and fulfill their aspirations despite all the odds.
About The Scholarship
Through expanded access and scholarship options, the Anthony Munoz Foundation and Northern Kentucky University have teamed up to improve the educational opportunities for young people in the area.
By offering seniors who intend to continue their education at Northern Kentucky University funding possibilities, this relationship will have a direct impact on students.
There are numerous scholarships available to Anthony Muoz Foundation Impact Program participants, ranging in value from $500 per year to the full cost of attendance at Northern Kentucky University.
Important Information
Financial need, academic excellence, the capacity to persevere in the face of hardship, and aspiration to succeed are all taken into consideration when selecting students.
Students’ applications must provide the following information:
• Application for Scholarships from the Anthony Muoz Foundation
Personal Statement
• If available, an acceptance letter from the intended college or university
• Student ID number from a college or university, if available
• A high school transcript showing all grades earned till the end of the application period.
• Up-to-date financial data about the family, such as the Student Aid Report (SAR) from the student’s Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) file.

Eligibility
Candidates for the Anthony Munoz Scholarship Fund must fulfill a number of standards in order to be considered. Included in this are, but not limited to:
• Attend a secondary school in the area of influence of the foundation.
• Enrolling as a freshman in Fall 2023 at a Tri-State institution or university is acceptable. Is your university not included? View our list of Unqualified Schools.
• Exhibit a need for money as well as a willingness to overcome hardship.
Applications may be rejected by the Anthony Muoz Foundation if all required documents are not supplied, if certain documents are incomplete, or if all required documents are not submitted at the same time.
