Following her 1989 Haddon Twp HS (NJ) graduation, Danielle attended Villanova University (PA), where she graduated with a BS in Economics in 1993. While attending Villanova, she participated in a number of extracurricular activities. She participated in Villanova Women’s Crew and began rowing after never having done it four years ago. She assisted in guiding her lightweight eight squads to numerous illustrious victories.
Danielle Kousoulis
Danielle was a person of kindness, compassion, and care. She always sought to be the best at whatever she did and embraced life to the fullest. She went about it in a stealthy manner. She also possessed the rare capacity to concentrate on the job at hand while also supporting others, either by listening or by providing words of encouragement.
Following her graduation from Villanova University, Danielle agreed to work as a bond broker for Cantor-Fitzgerald. She obtained her MBA at NYU’s esteemed Stern School of Business with the aid of Cantor’s tuition assistance program since she is constantly looking to better herself. May 2000 saw her graduate with an MBA. She also achieved another desire by participating in and winning the 1999 New York City Marathon. At Cantor-Fitzgerald, she finally rose to the level of Vice President.

On September 11, 2001, while Danielle Kousoulis was working on the 104th story of the North Tower at the World Trade Center, terrorists crashed jet aircraft into the structures, taking her life. In order to carry on Danielle’s compassionate and giving nature, the Danielle Kousoulis Memorial Scholarship Fund was established. Each year, Danielle’s alma mater, Haddon Township High School in New Jersey, and Danielle’s church, St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church, are each given academic scholarships through the scholarship fund (Cherry Hill, NJ). We plan to grant scholarships to the kids of other September 11th victims in the future as the scholarship fund grows.
