We’d be interested in hearing about your negotiation experiences if they align with our values. After all, Chris & Nikhil founded Juno as a group of college students campaigning for lower interest rates on student loans. They have thousands of members, and by forcing lenders to offer their members the best rates, they have collectively saved millions of dollars.

Juno
Nikhil Agarwal and Chris Abkarians, the creators of Juno, were accepted to Harvard before the dreaded tuition bill arrived. Instead of taking out expensive loans that summer, they gathered 700 students from 10 different schools and negotiated lower rates for the entire group, saving each of their classmates about $15,000.
Their desire to provide this benefit to all upcoming student generations led to the creation of Juno. Today, Juno can secure thousands of students the lowest interest rate student loans.
Community
By students, for students, Juno was founded. We are devoted to everyone who joins because we were a part of the original negotiation team.
Transparency
We frequently update our members with information about our negotiations. You’ll be the first to learn about any new offers or crucial information.
Education
It’s crucial to know about all your options, therefore we always want to let you know when a different approach may be smarter. We’ll show you how to assess what’s best for you in our materials.
Applying For Juno Loans
Step 1: Assemble a sizable group of borrowers, including graduates, families, and students.
The Juno student loan negotiation organization welcomes new members without charge.
When they sign up, potential borrowers give the following information:
• Contact Details
• Information on Education
• Financial Details
For the purpose of assisting with lender negotiations, we specifically request the following voluntary financial information:
• Predicted credit rating (we do not run any credit checks)
• Projected annual income (many people will report 0 here, and that’s great)
• Cosigner standing
• Projected loan requirement
The information isn’t used to apply for loans directly; rather, it’s used to let lenders know how big our group’s lending pool is and how creditworthy we are in general. Finalized data will be needed later throughout the application process with the chosen lender.

Step 2: Request that lenders compete for the business of our members.
We begin the lending competition.
We contact a large number of lenders to let them know the size of our negotiating team and the guidelines for the contest. On the designated date, we begin the competition by sending the same information to all of the lenders who have expressed interest in taking part (any information shared about our members is anonymous). Then we start a conversation with the lenders to make sure they comprehend all of the information we have given them.
Step 3: Tell members about the exclusive offer.
We update our subscribers.
We email our members with information about the agreement and a link so they can take advantage of the discounted price.
We provide our members with a smart and objective calculator to assist them in determining whether the negotiated offer or any other offer they may encounter is the best loan for them. We also point out the distinctions between the agreed-upon terms and available federal loan possibilities (for members who are U.S. Citizens and U.S. Permanent Residents).
