AED.us works to spread knowledge of AED usage and AED placement. The only way to revive a victim of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), which is the leading cause of death in America, is with an electric shock from a defibrillator. Each year, more than 350,000 SCA deaths occur outside of hospitals, with 366,807 affecting families throughout the nation in only 2015.
SCHOLARSHIP SPONSORS
AED.US
Since joining the market in 1999, the creators of AED.US have placed tens of thousands of AEDs. Hundreds of AEDs have been distributed through AED donation programs to places that require them but may not have the money to buy them. In one instance, the creators of AED.us donated ZOLL AED Plus units to a Tennessee County, which resulted in many saves, including that of a high school girls basketball coach and the mother of a student. Only the actions of those in attendance allowed for these saves. Their knowledge and training enabled them to quickly administer CPR, get the AED, and shock the victim.
The American Red Cross and The American Heart Association are two choices for getting AED/CPR training. Any size company can benefit from the unique classes that AED.US can plan and organize.
We provide a lighthearted and imaginative perspective to a very important mission with our more than 100 years of combined experience in the AED industry. While the closest AED is our choice, we also suggest AEDs with capabilities that help the operator perform CPR during a rescue. In order to maximize the benefits of effective CPR, AEDs from Cardiac Science, Heartsine, and ZOLL currently offer helpful CPR feedback to a rescuer. Our heart keeps our organs functioning properly by circulating oxygen-rich blood throughout the body. These organs start to degenerate at a rate of about 10% per minute when they are blood-starved during a sudden cardiac arrest. In order to keep your body alive until an AED shock can restore a normal cardiac rhythm, CPR is crucial. The majority of AEDs on the market now help in a rescue by providing vocal cues to start CPR and a metronome that guides the user into a cadence for effective CPR rates. There are other variables, nevertheless, that the technology of today can measure. In our opinion, the more guidance that may be provided in a very stressful scenario, the better the result may be.
Ingenious businesses have made significant strides in AED technology over the past 20 years, working relentlessly to introduce the newest tools and features that aid in the prevention of sudden cardiac arrest. We have witnessed firsthand the several important changes that have taken place in our sector. The manufacturers we represent have traveled a variety of pathways to develop the ideal AED, and they won’t stop working to improve AEDs once they are on the market. A first responder can be calmed and guided by features like rapid shock, CPR feedback, clear voice, escalating energy, dual language, digital screens, long-life pads and batteries, impedance detection, and many others. Please allow us to assist you in navigating these features and advantages to choose the ideal AED for your specific circumstance.
