The BECA Foundation Scholarship Program

Through financial and spiritual support, BECA Foundation will inspire and enable aspirant Latino students to pursue higher education.

BECA thinks that every San Diego County Latino high school graduate should have the chance to enroll in a college or university if they so want. Education and money are frequently related. BECA promotes and inspires aspirant Latino students to follow their dreams by providing financial assistance and coaching. This makes it possible to better prepare students for lives of meaning, service, and leadership in our communities as well as help our country develop.

BECA Foundation

BECA, which stands for “scholarship” in Spanish, was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation in 1984. Co-Founders Joe Costa, Bill Dominguez, Dr. Fred Huber, Dr. John MacDonald, David Martnez, Ted Marioncelli, Al Mendoza, Thomas Missettt, Jack Port, Judge Victor Ramirez, and David Ronquillo, Esq. are responsible for this success.

What BECA set out to do in 1984—Make a Difference—has been completed. Giving gifts is frequently seen as a way to express joy about accomplishments. Your donation will be money well spent if you concur with BECA’s mission and achievements. Aiding in the education of our Latino population is a wise investment that will only benefit our neighborhoods and the country as a whole.
