The Warwick University "Chancellor" Scholarship -

Applications are being accepted for the UK Warwick Chancellor’s International Scholarship 2023.

All national and international students from all over the world are eligible for the Warwick Doctoral College’s International Graduate Scholarship 2023.

Applications are invited from those who want to pursue a Masters or PhD in the UK. The scholarship is fully funded through the 2023–2024 academic year.

The Warwick Doctoral College provides degree programs in practically all academic subjects under the Chancellor’s International Scholarship. The 3.5-year scholarship is renewable.

About The Scholarship

The Warwick International Scholarship 2023 in the UK is open to all students from all around the world and covers the following:

Full payment of tuition (up to £24,010)
A maintenance stipend in line with UKRI rates will be paid to full-time award recipients in 2023–2024 (provisional £15,609 to be confirmed by February 2023)
A £5,000 Research, Training, and Support Grant (RTSG).

Award Specifics

The following two awards will be made available for submission in the autumn of 2023:

The complete payment of tuition

A maintenance allowance is paid at the current UKRI rate.
A £5,000 Research, Training, and Supporting Grant (RTSG).
3.5 years, unless you are already enrolled in your first year of study when you apply in which case the length of funding will be shortened.

Eligibility

Candidates must:

Submit an application to start a PhD at the University of Warwick in October 2023; or

Be enrolled at the University of Warwick in the first year of a PhD or MPhil/PhD;

• Have their expenses assessed as “overseas,” although there are no further nationality requirements;

Applicants may come from any Warwick academic field.

Scholarships are not transferable to the following academic year.

Application cutoff date:

The Warwick International Graduate Scholarship’s deadline for international applicants is 14^th December 2023.

How to Apply

Noting that it is typically impossible to finish and submit an application in less than 36 hours, we strongly advise preparing applications well in advance.

1. Read the Applicant Guidance Notes and PGR Ranking Criteria (2023/24 to be provided in October).

2. Submit your application for the course and upload any supporting materials.

3. Obtain a 7-digit applicant ID number via automated email. Please give this at least 48 hours to arrive.

4. Create an applicant account on ITS.

5. Send in your scholarship application before the due date. We regret that, for any reason, we cannot accept late applications.

6. Deliver supporting files by the deadline for supporting files. We regret that, for any reason, late supporting documents cannot be accepted.

7. By the end of March 2023, recipients of the Chancellor’s International Scholarship will be notified by email.
