Megan Thee Stallion is currently such a sensation in music that we occasionally forget that she is still pursuing her own college degree. She is all too familiar with the difficulties of attending school, especially in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. So the rapper is returning the favor by offering a unique scholarship that will undoubtedly aid female students of color in their academic endeavors!

Jovon Megan Ruth Pete, also known professionally as Megan Thee Stallion (pronounced “Megan the Stallion”), was born on February 15, 1995, in the United States. She is originally from Houston, Texas, and initially came to public recognition after Instagram videos of her freestyling went viral. The mixtape Fever (2019) and the extended play Suga (2020), both of which made it into the top ten of the Billboard 200, were released by Megan Thee Stallion after she signed with 300 Entertainment in 2018.
She debuted as a studio artist in 2020 with the critically acclaimed Good News album, which made multiple year-end best album lists. Megan Thee Stallion has won numerous honors throughout her career, including a Billboard Women in Music Award, a Billboard Women in Music Award, six BET Awards, five BET Hip Hop Awards, four American Music Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards, and three Grammy Awards. She followed Lauryn Hill in 1999 as the second female rapper to win Best New Artist at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards. On their annual list, Time listed her as one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2020. She has prioritized her studies in addition to singing, and she got a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration from Texas Southern University in 2021.
ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP
Through the fittingly named “Don’t Stop Scholarship,” Megan will collaborate with Amazon Music’s hip hop brand and playlist, Rap Rotation, to award two eligible female students of color $10,000 scholarships.
The scholarship website states that Megan, who is currently a college student, “is very passionate about the transformational impact of education and remains a strong champion for women seeking a college degree.” Many people are aware that Megan is a senior at Texas Southern University who wants to study health administration.

HOW TO APPLY
Students must submit an application form on the Don’t Stop Scholarship website, which includes questions like name, birthday, zip code, email address, the field of study, current school, and year of study. There is also a required essay portion; however, there is no specific question. Nevertheless, it can be considered that the applicants can use that area to describe how this award will help them right now in pursuing their academic objectives.
For this, Megan is outstanding. Many people already struggle to pay for college, but in the midst of this pandemic, it’s become more difficult to maintain focus on the goal. The award will hopefully benefit two young women who require both financial and psychological support.
Female students of color pursuing an associate, bachelor, or Postgraduate Degree in any subject will each get a $10,000 stipend. There is no application process for this scholarship.
